Congratulations, SMU Equestrian National Champions!
SMU Women’s Equestrian makes history with first National Championship
The number one ranked Southern Methodist University (SMU) women’s equestrian team finished the 2023 season with a historic 13-1 record. The cherry on top of a winning season was walking away with the National Championship trophy after a matchup with number two-ranked Auburn University.
The National Championship victory is the school’s first in equestrian and the school’s ninth overall national championship. It also marks the first time a school outside the Big 12 or SEC has taken home an equestrian National Championship.
Simmons Bank is proud to congratulate the SMU Equestrian National Champions!
