Simmons Bank Presents $25,000 Check to Furnish Jefferson County Sheriff's Office - July 5, 2018

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – A $25,000 Simmons Bank gift to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department was announced Thursday at the sheriff’s office. The funds will be used to purchase furniture and fixtures for the newly constructed addition to the jail.

“Simmons Bank shares a special connection to Jefferson County,” said Daniel Robinson, Pine Bluff community president at Simmons Bank. “Few people do more for our county community than the sheriff and deputies, and this gift is Simmons’ way of saying thank you.”

“A core motto at Simmons is ‘better together,’ which means that success comes from looking out for each other,” said Marty Casteel, chairman and CEO of Simmons Bank. “The deputies in our home county go above and beyond every day to look out for others, and today Simmons has the opportunity to look out for them, too.”
